Thanks to all who attended Carrington Elementary’s annual Pastries for Parents event! We served over 300 parents and students!




CPS enjoyed hosting a group of practicum students from the University of Jamestown, who observed and taught lessons over 6 days in a number of classrooms both at the elementary and JH/HS levels. This is our 3rd year working with the University of Jamestown on this partnership!

The first ever girls wrestling event for Carrington High School took place on Saturday in Minot. Carrington had several placers which can be found in the November 21 daily announcements. Picture is from the Saturday event. Good Luck this season!

Congratulations to band and choir members Gavyn Anderson (choir), Maddalen Charles (choir), Ashley Lindberg (choir), and Jazmyn Ybarra (band) for being selected to participate in Minot State’s Northwest Music Festival earlier this month. These students went through a highly selective audition process and were chosen along with over 600 students from across North Dakota to participate in large group band and choir rehearsals and performances. Also, congratulations to Gavyn Anderson for being awarded a four year award for his participation at this festival over the years!


Carrington Elementary is striving to include more STEM activities for our students! On November 8th, we celebrated National STEM Day with this activity. We thank our librarian, Ms. Park, for taking this on!

The Volleyball Region Championship game will be played in Napoleon tomorrow (November 11) 25 minutes after the third place game which begins at 2:00.

Jyllian Parker, a freshman at Carrington High School, gave a great presentation to our student body about American Indian Heritage Month and shared a lot of personal knowledge about the importance of her culture. Thank you Jyllian - we learned a lot!


The Cardinal Volleyball team will play in the Region 3 Semi's tonight at 5:30 in Napoleon. The game will be on BEK TV. Good Luck Cardinals!
