Congratulations to the 8th grade volleyball team on their last match win over Kidder County

There will be a meeting during IE, TODAY  in Mr. Kerbaugh’s room, for anyone interested in wrestling or stats for grades 7-12 in room 10.  Please attend if you are a returner or are a newcomer. This is the meeting that was originally scheduled for Monday. It has CHANGED.

Any English 11 students from period 5 who will not need their computer for period 3 and maybe 4 today, are asked to take their computer to Mr. Shipman to have imovie installed.  We need at least one person from each group to have it on their computer.

VFB has a game in Langdon today at 7:00. Players will be dismissed at 2:30. Bus leaves at 2:40.

There will be a lasagna supper sponsored by the Cross Country Club to celebrate the cross country athletes before they head to regionals and state, Friday, October 15th starting at 5:30pm at the Foster County Fairgrounds. It will be a free will offering. Please come out and support these kids!

The cross country team has regionals in Cooperstown tomorrow. The meet starts at 11:00 and the bus leaves at 8:45.

The basketball team shop is open. It is open until October 17th.

7th and 8th grade girls basketball players will have a meeting in Miss Braaten’s room in the elementary AFTER school on Monday, October 18th.

The sixth graders completed in the Lion’s Peace Poster Contest this fall.  A big thank you to Ms. Trautman for getting this organized and allowing the students to work on it in art class.

Students that had retakes of school photos today will come home with a code to view the pictures soon.

Bailey Ness, Reese Schaefer, and Kelsi Neuman are scheduled to do FBLA candy sales tonight. Rori Ricter and Kirra Kvamme have clean up.

The volleyball team would like everyone to wear pink tonight at the volleyball match. Let’s fight cancer together! Bake sale will start at 4:30.

Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team and their championship victory at the Carrington Tournament this weekend. Catch the Cardinals at home on Tuesday against Oakes. It will be Pink Night!

JVFB has a game against Harvey/WC in Harvey at 5:00. Players will be dismissed at 2:50. Bus leaves at 3:00.

7th  & 8th Gr VB teams have matches today against Harvey W/C at the Harvey Grade School at 5:00. Players will be dismissed at 3:00. Bus leaves at 3:10.

JHFB has a game here against Jamestown tonight at 5:00.

There is an FCCLA officer meeting in room 13 today during IE.

There will be a BBB interest meeting during I/E on Monday, October 11th in Mr. Ranum’s room for all players/stats interested in participating in BBB this upcoming season.

Elementary Announcements:

The library Shelf of the Week goes to the following third graders, Weston Irmen in Mrs. Hafner’s class and Graham Kuginski in Mrs. Hewitt’s class.  Their shelves will be decorated with a gold star and their names will go into a drawing for the bookfair “Book Bucks” for the month of October.  Grahm and Weston were responsible in making sure the books on their shelves were neat and organized and the books were straight up with spines facing out.  Thank you boys for taking pride in out school library.

Parent Teacher Concerence information went home Recently. Please sign up for your conference as soon as possible, to get your choice of date and times. The deadline is tonight at midnight.  If you have not signed up by the deadline, a time and date will be assigned to you.
