Good morning, Carrington High School these are your morning announcements.

There will be an FFA during I/E today in Mrs. Hansen’s classroom.

Any speech team member who wishes to attend the meet at Northern Cass on Feb 5, should sign up by Mrs. Hewitt’s door by noon on Friday.

The wrestling triangular will start tonight at 5:30 with the first match between West Fargo and Devils Lake.

C Club concessions are Haley Wolsky, Madison Johnson and Kacie Rexin. Close Up families are Rexin and Walker. Close Up student is Drew Schroeder.

Tonight is Parents/Senior Night for wrestlers. It will take place before the last match: Carrington vs West Fargo.

The wrestling team will be gone all day tomorrow for the East-West tournament and the bus will leave at 8:30.

Practice for Velvatones will begin on Monday, January 31st at 7:45am in the high school music room. If you signed up to participate, please make sure you are there on time. See Mrs. Schuh with any questions.

Any Juniors that have not turned in their prom raffle tickets need to turn them in to Bobbi in the office.

There will be a yearbook meeting after school today at 3:30 in Miss Whipple’s room. If you are unable to make it please see Miss Whipple to set up an alternate time.

Congratulations to the Junior High Boys Basketball 7th & 8th Grade teams on their victories over Griggs- Midkota on Tuesday

The last day to change classes is today, January 26th. Please stop by the office to talk to Mr. Bitz.

Any Juniors that have not turned in their prom raffle tickets need to turn them in to Bobbi in the office.

The Horatio Alger Scholarship Program is a scholarship for high school juniors and the window for applications is open. The deadline is March 15th. You can find a link to the scholarship on the scholarship website. The website address is posted on the bulletin board by the HS counseling office. Let Mrs. Foth or Mrs. Matteson know if you have questions.

AB GBB teams have games here tonight against LLM starting at 6:00. C Club concessions are Emma Wolsky, Tate Larsen & Noah Paulson. Close Up Families are Beumer and Brecken Lura. Close Up Student is Kaulder Kvamme.

7th & 8th Gr BBB teams have games against Griggs-Midkota in Glenfield starting at 4:30. Bus leaves at 3:25.

Happy Birthday today to Maddyx Davis and Trace Hoggarth.

Congratulations to the following wrestlers who placed at the Lisbon tournament: Matthew Duchscherer (1st), Michael Clifton (1st), Brecken Lura (1st), Trace Hoggarth (2nd), Corbin Clifton (5th), Callen Garber (6th), and Jonathon Lura (7th).

Congrats to the Cardinaires for placing 4th in jazz, 1st in High Kick, and 1st in Pom at the NDADD STATE DANCE competition over the weekend! The team also received the Team Scholar award.
