Class Schedule Activities for Juniors, Sophomores, Freshmen, and 8th Graders

Attend one-on-one Zoom meetings at the links below to visit about your 2020-2021 class schedule with Mr. Nowatzki.

Keep these details in mind:

  • Within the times outlined below, students can meet at any time.
  • You will enter a “waiting room” and remain there until Mr. N allows you in the meeting.

Hello CHS Students and their Parents,

This letter contains information regarding our recent school closure due to Governor Burgum’s order.

On Monday, March 23, students will be allowed to pick up items from their lockers, including textbooks, iPad or Macbook, and other educational and personal materials.  Here are few things to keep in mind:

  • Arrive between 7:45 AM and 3:45 PM
  • Do not come to the school in groups, or plan to hang out with friends. We are not allowed to have a “gathering” of students, so expect to leave soon after you arrive
  • From your locker, take everything you will need to continue your school work at home
  • Check in with each of your teachers before you leave – they may have additional materials for you
  • You will not be allowed to check out books from the library. Your English teacher will notify you on plans about future AR requirements.

On Monday, March 23, teachers will start assigning online lessons and assignments through email and Google classroom.  Students should check their k12 emails frequently.

Many teachers have already listed class information under the “Coronavirus Information” tab on the CPS website.  See the link below to this information:

3rd Quarter Grades

  • For students in grades 7-12, Friday, March 13 will be the last day of Quarter 3.
  • Students who are incomplete in one or more of their classes still have an opportunity to complete their work. Teachers will share more information about this process with incomplete students.

Online Courses

  • Students in NDCDE courses
    • Continue progressing in the course as normal
    • If you need to take a test that requires a password, please have your parent contact me at 652-3136 or nowatzki@k12.nd.us
  • Students in CNA class – your online instructor will be providing more information soon

If you have any questions, please call me at 652-3136 or email at david.nowatzki@k12.nd.us

Sincerely,

David Nowatzki
Principal
