There is a FBLA Officer meeting today in Mrs Skytland’s room during I/E.

9 -12th Grade one act play tryouts will be via ZOOM 7-9 PM tonight. Pick up information for the ZOOM Meeting from the Office.

7 & 8th Grade one act play tryouts LIVE in the WEST GYM 7-9 PM tonight.

7th & 8th VB teams have matches here today against Harvey/WC starting at 5:00.

There will be an FFA meeting at 6:30 this evening.  Please use Door 19 on the east side of the ag. building.

  1. Only CHS students allowed at the dance. College students, graduated students, or students from other high schools are not permitted to attend.
  2. A breathalyzer MAY be utilized upon entrance to the dance.
  3. Students are not allowed to leave the area/building during the dance without permission. If a student leaves the area/building during the dance, they will not be allowed to re-enter.
  4. School policies are in affect in relation to behavior, dress code, etc.
  5. Obviously we are in the midst of a pandemic…take precautions to protect yourself as you would with any close contact…social distance when possible, wear a mask and perhaps a HAZMAT suit to reduce exposure to germs!

Congratulations to the following top 10 runners from the Medina meet – in the JH division: Jaedyn Lura (4th) and Tate Wolsky (9th). In the varsity division: Kenadie Pazdernik (4th), Brynn Smith (9th), and Jacob Rexin (6th).

The National Guard has brought some water bottles for students that need ones for their locker. If you need a water bottle, please stop by Mrs. Copenhaver’s office and pick one up.

It’s Parents Night tonight at the volleyball match here against Park River Fordville-Lankin.  C match will start at 4:30.

Congrats to JH football team on a 33-26 win against Jamestown on Tuesday.

NHS members meeting today during I/E in room 8.

ABC VB team has matches today at Edgeley starting at 4:30.  Players will be dismissed at 2:00, bus will leave at 2:10. Requirements for attending the game at Edgeley:

    • Fans – Visiting fans will enter the school using door #1 and sit on the South bleachers. Fans will be required to wear a mask while inside our building.
    • Concessions (Limited menu quantities – Pop, Water, & Candy) will be located in the school commons. No tables will be used. Fans will take all food items back to their seat and eat them there.
    • Restrooms will be available.
    • Fans are asked to leave the gym and school in a timely manner after the match is over. Please wait for athletes or others outside of the building.

Current Thompson Attendance Regulations
•No College students will be allowed at this sporting event
•500 person max or 75% capacity unless otherwise indicated
•Face coverings are required for all fans entering our building.  Face coverings are expected when social distancing, from individuals other than those living in your household, is not possible or ALL indoor and outdoor events.
•Fans must exit once their child, or participant they came to watch is done playing.

Students grades 7th-12th  – If you left any items in the locker rooms last spring, please check by the west weight gym for those items.  After 3:15 tomorrow they will be discarded.

There is NO SCHOOL on Monday.

Moving forward, next week each student should have a mask or masks to wear during the regular school day.  This will begin next Tuesday.  Each student is expected to wear the masks in specific situations during the school day.  Please help your student by obtaining masks for them to wear.  More information will follow.
